Happy Valley Reservoir Upgrade

The master plan to extend the recreational space around the Happy Valley Reservoir commenced in August 2021.  The project aim was to create a family friendly space with trails for walking/running/bike riding around the reservoir, grassy picnic areas with shelters and BBQ facilities, kayak launch pads and fishing access areas.

Construction involved removal of unsuitable materials for car park preparation, structural excavations for amenities blocks, bridge abutment excavations for pedestrian bridges and path preparation for trails.  The project was completed within the scheduled timeframe.
